This binaural audio and multimedia installation is created in collaboration with Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi. Here’s an exclusive interview with director-designer Gaurav Singh Nijjer

Reema Gowalla speaks to Gaurav Singh Nijjer about I, Josef, an immersive 45-minute binaural audio experience based on Franz Kafka’s The Trial. The audience becomes Josef K. through headphones in a dark room, encountering the story through sound and projections. Collaborating with Goethe-Institut, the performance blends audio storytelling with Kafka’s themes of isolation and justice, offering a modern and accessible approach to theatre.
